Bruce Clemens was profiled in the July through August 2013 issue of Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Bar Brief newsletter. The publication highlighted Clemens’ four decades in the legal industry, noting his reputation for attracting high-profile clients seeking confidentiality in their family law matters.
The article notes, among other things, that Jaffe and Clemens was among the first firms to employ an in-house forensic accountant, and is known for handling the needs of families with large assets. Clemens himself has handled hundreds of complex divorces involving collectively tens of billions of dollars.

Clemens is also recognized by the State Bar as a Certified Specialist in Family Law, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been recognized by numerous publications as a top family law lawyer. A California native, he had taught more than 20 courses for professional organizations and written extensively on family law issues.
“He has made significant contributions to the family law dialogue by publishing articles on topics such as the tax consequences of dissolution as well as prenuptial agreements,” the article notes. “He formerly served on the Executive Committees of the Family Law Sections of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.”
